The Gift of Shift: 12 Tactics for Tough Times

The real estate market has changed drastically in the last couple of years, and the real estate agents who have managed to survive this shift in the market have been recently faced with one of the most difficult sales environments many of them have ever seen in the real estate industry.
But things are changing. Many would say that the market is beginning to shift again – some markets already have. Thanks to the combination of lower home prices, buyer incentives like the $8000 tax credit, and interest rates near historical lows, markets will continue to shift as buyers, especially first-time buyers, return to the marketplace. And those agents who manage to adjust their psychology and their actions to these changes in time will not only survive, they will thrive – and you can help them.
With this in mind, we are pleased to present this Gift of Knowledge conference call with Gary Keller, the best-selling co-author of the Millionaire Real Estate Series of books. If anyone truly appreciates the opportunities that exist as markets shift, it's Gary. During two of the worst downturns in the recent history of the real estate market, Gary launched both his sales career and Keller Williams Realty International, which is now the third-largest real estate operation in the US with 679 offices and 74,000 associates.
In 2008, Keller Williams was the fourth-largest, but by utilizing the principles in Shift: How Top Real Estate Agents Tackle Tough Times, his latest book with coauthors Dave Jenks and Jay Papasan, Gary managed to increase his company's share of the market.
Listen in as Gary Keller discusses surviving and thriving in a shifted real estate market.
